We chose to celebrate my mum's 75th birthday in the marquee outside. Seb was amazing and so friendly. The food was incredible and everyone commented on how tasty it was. The space itself was brilliant. We could decorate it as we wanted, and Seb kindly gave us a Sonos speaker so we could play our own music. I would definitely consider booking this space again - it was ideal! We love the GoS and are regular customers. highly recommend! Thank you to the whole team - Seb, Wes and Amy.

4 of us ate here for a midweek lunch. Between us we ate meat pie of the day (chicken, bacon and leek), vegetarian pie of the day (quinoa, lentil, bean chilli) and fish and chips. For pudding, I had affogato which was amazing! I'm not normally a fan of espresso coffee but this was something else. All plates were clean and everyone enjoyed their food. We held my father's funeral celebration here on Monday 18th March, a buffet lunch for 20 people. It was incredible. A great selection of sandwiches with a variety of very tasty fillings, hot sausage rolls, and chips, and scones with jam and cream to finish. As well as tea and coffee. The service from Wes and the team was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome and all our party felt relaxed and able to enjoy the afternoon. Best roasts we've had in a very long time. As I was pleased to tell the amazing staff at the time the roast dinners myself and my partner enjoyed were the best roasts we had had in a very long time. My beef was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were incredible. Sublime gravy and cauliflower cheese to die for. The staff were awesome- friendly and polite and charismatic and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time.! The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was super speedy too. We had a toddler with us and they were completely geared for kids and the food was great. Such a lovely Sunday lunch and we will be back!

I want to say a huge thank you to your team. My wife had a fabulous birthday. We had fantastic time yesterday and everything was perfect. We went for a Sunday roast for my birthday and it was class. The food was brilliant and the atmosphere and staff were great. They even kept the kitchen open a little past 5pm for us which was so nice 🙂

My visit to the Gloucester Old Spot pub for a Sunday roast was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful meal. The roast dinner itself was a masterpiece. Amazing lunch and service. Visited the pub for lunch, friendly and super helpful staff, the toastie menu is great, we had bbq beef brisket with home made soup and fries, would highly recommend a visit here.

Fantastic food choices, atmosphere and helpful staff. What a gem. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I have a dairy allergy they catered for me with a large selection of meal choices. The Staff were knowledgeable and helpful which made the evening extremely enjoyable. The prices were competitive especially at this time, with the cost of living so expensive. There is a garden area with a covered, heated marquee for the dining experience outside. Thoroughly recommend.

Sunday Roast Smashing It. The best Sunday Roast in the whole of Bristol. The staff are very attentive so much so we have booked again this Sunday. Can't wait. Keep up the good work GOS. The quality of food is what we all want.

Great Pub. Exceptional Customer Service. Really nice pub. Didn't eat but the Sunday roasts looked very good. Big garden. Great for families. I asked the bar man if they had pork scratchings, which they didn't, however he said he would ask the chef if we can have a bowl of crackling from the pork roasts. I was actually surprised that he came back with a large bowl full. A great example of going above and beyond to satisfy the customer from both the bar, and kitchen staff and deserves a 5 star review!

Becca and the team hosted our daughter's 21st Birthday party. Amazing food, amazing team and a great venue for any party. Becca organised the event from the reservation and hosted the party perfectly. Cannot recommend the Old Spot team highly enough - brilliant. Thank you!
