Great place! Thank you for your fantastic service. The waitress was so lovely, making us feel welcome and giving us blankets and hot water bottles to keep us cosy! Good food, arrived really quickly too! We had a great time! Congratulations on doing such a good job!

12 of us booked a table for the France v England rugby match and we could not have wished for a better welcome. The service was very prompt and attentive, and since we were sitting outside, hot water bottles and blankets were offered for those feeling the cold. A fab evening in a fab local pub.

Always wonderful! 5 stars on everything. Thank you for a fabulous Sunday roast. There are so many reasons why I come back to you time and time again but one is that most of your menu is or can be made gluten-free. I don't feel like I'm missing out. Such lovely welcoming and friendly staff you have too. Thank you as always. Great team. Great food. Great pub.

We felt the pub had done a perfect job with their COVID rules and protocols, felt very sensible yet relaxed. The pub was light and spacious and airy and the staff were great.

I was so impressed by the service and the measures you’ve put into place to ensure social distancing. We felt relaxed in the garden, not too close to others, drinks/food was left on a separate table, there was hand gel readily available and staff were lovely. Well done Gloucester Old Spot!

Fantastic pub! We’re very lucky to call this our local. Lovely, caring and attentive staff too. Despite being pregnant, you made us all feel very safe and reassured with all the hard work you’ve put in during the pandemic. Thank you!

Lunch today was superb. We were nervous as this was first pub visit after lockdown. So organised. We felt very safe but still totally relaxed. Staff attentive but careful. Very clear signage and beautiful surroundings. Obviously run by someone proud of their pub. Will be back again soon. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived, any anxiety about COVID-19 and being back in a pub again was blown away with a quick bite to eat and a couple of pints at the Gloucester Old Spot. From the moment the young lady met us at the door and explained how everything was working, it was obvious they have worked hard to ensure a slick and safe service. We hope this is the norm everywhere if not now but soon. I highly recommend the lentil burger and my friend said the Cajun Chicken burger was tasty too. 10/10 for this visit, would...

This was our first meal out since lockdown and we couldn’t have been happier with the steps put in place to keep customers (and staff) safe. We felt tables were very well spaced out in the garden, food and drink was delivered to an adjacent empty table and hand sanitiser was available in toilets and in the garden. Staff were attentive and food was good. It was lovely to be able to relax.

Very good Sunday roast. Perfect beer garden for chilling with friends or family.

My partner and I came here for lunch today (Tuesday 28th), we arrived just after 3pm when the kitchen stops serving their main menu and switch to sandwiches. However my boyfriend really wanted fish and chips and they were so generous and allowed us to have food from the main menu which we really appreciated! The food was amazing, I had spanakopita and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had, fish and chips were great too. You can tell that everything is homemade and made with care. On top of this, sitting in the sunshine in the quiet beer...

Really nice food, friendly service and easy to park nearby. Even though pigs fair in the logo and inside the restaurant, there was a variety of dishes. We opted for the bangers and mash (tasty and big portion) and the chicken club Sandwich (had everything in it, really good).

A regular haunt when in Bristol. This is our friends regular haunt and I can understand why. Very friendly Owner who is hands on and enthusiastic about making her business a success. Good selection of beers, great food and a child friendly beer garden with activities and AstroTurf. I can imagine it can get rowdy with kids on occasion, however there are quieter seats inside nearer the bar where a pint and kindle can be enjoyed relatively unscathed. They are now open for breakfast which looked interesting - maybe next time!

A gorgeous pub, cosy and welcoming. Has both a table service restaurant part and non-table service area, both of which are lovely. Fab staff, quick service and a lovely atmosphere created. To top everything off the food I had was amazing. Fabulous flavours, perfect portion size; I can’t rate highly enough!

I can highly recommend this pub, I went with a family group including 3 children for a Sunday lunch and we were all very impressed. This pub is very child friendly and caters well with children's portions. The staff are very helpful and the atmosphere was great.
