The Gloucester Old Spot provides a warm, welcoming and relaxed setting for wakes and celebrations of life, giving family and friends the opportunity to come together, share memories and support one another in comfortable surroundings.
We can accommodate wakes of up to 150 people any day of the week, with a range of spaces available depending on the size of your gathering. For families looking for complete privacy, exclusive use of the entire pub is available on Monday to Wednesday daytimes at no hire charge, with catering for a minimum of 30 guests.

FAQs
We do not have our own car park. However, there is plenty of on-street parking in the surrounding area with no parking restrictions. We can pop some cones out for a maximum of three spaces.
Absolutely. We welcome memory tables, photographs, flowers and any personal touches that help celebrate the life of your loved one.
Yes. We have a TV screen available should you wish to display photographs, a slideshow, or a video celebrating your loved one’s life. You’re also welcome to provide background music or create a playlist that holds special memories for family and friends. We will do everything we can to help make the gathering feel personal and meaningful.
Yes, we are happy to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies. Please let us know in advance so we can ensure every guest is catered for.
