We had a great evening at The Gloucester Old Spot. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing and all the staff were super helpful. We ate a very tasty meal which was freshly cooked and there was plenty of choice, even if you have allergies or food intolerances. The prices of the food and drinks were reasonable. The pub was very busy for quiz night but this didn’t stop fast service. We sat in the lovely outside space and enjoyed a warm evening. The best pub we have been in for a long time. Many thanks!

I was celebrating my 80th with 35/40 friends. All my friends were very positive about the experience. The service was efficient but unobtrusive. We all loved it! The food was superb and good value for money.

Service and attention from the staff is second to none. We have booked a couple of functions here, and visited on many occasions for a meal or drinks. Staff are always attentive and polite. Food is really good. I just celebrated my 60th here, with a Hog Roast - would thoroughly recommend.

We had our wedding here in July and it was the most perfect day! All of our 120 guests said how it was the perfect venue for the day and commented on how beautiful it was and how safe they felt. Amy was absolutely incredible the whole way through the process. She was organised and friendly whilst also making sure we felt in good hands. Amy, you are truly a diamond! I needed to alter the reservation time I’d booked and sent an email asking for an earlier time. They replied quickly to let me know that the time I’d now asked for had been amended which was great. The terrace was a lovely place to sit and the service and the Vegetation Sunday roast we both chose from the menu was excellent. Thank you T.G.O.S. For a 10/10 experience.

We booked for Sunday lunch for a family birthday. We were seated in the garden (it was a lovely sunny day), which was great as we had a little person with us. Lovely food and friendly staff - we will definitely book again.

This is the third event we have had at the Gloucester Old Spot and every one has been fantastic. The staff are second to none, they are helpful, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend The GOS as a great place to spend a Friday lunchtime/afternoon. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere in which to eat lovely food. I can highly recommend the Tuna Nicoise salad.

Lovely staff and great Sunday roast, love that you do pizzas for kids on a Sunday too. One lad in our party is autistic and you were so kind to him and made it feel no problem for him to make his roast chicken dinner bespoke for him!! Thank you.

The pies on the specials board were delicious, both the meat pie and the vegetarian pie.

We held a 50th birthday in the marquee. The area was great for the number of people and had a lovely atmosphere. The pizzas were great (as always), and the staff were very friendly and helpful - from the initial enquiry/booking/answering my follow up questions and on the actual night.

A most enjoyable meal - lovely food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Excellent fish and chips. I would definitely return.

Held a baby shower for my sister in the garden marquee at the Old Spot and it was absolutely perfect. We were struggling to find a venue without an expensive hire charge or huge minimum spend and The Old Spot was our saviour! Food was amazing and good value, staff were friendly and helpful and the whole process was easy and flexible. It was a lovely chilled event and exactly what we were hoping for, would definitely recommend!
