We absolutely love The Gloucester Old Spot. Not only have we photographed weddings here multiple times, but we also chose it for our own wedding party — which says it all really. The space is bright, colourful and full of character, making it such a great choice for a relaxed wedding reception or celebration. The team are always so welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere is spot on for couples who want something a bit more laid back without losing that special occasion feel. It works so well for speeches, food and getting everyone together before the dance floor kicks...

Lovely venue for my 60th - the staff were brilliant and everything worked out perfectly. Food was delicious and the service was faultless. Thank you so much x

My birthday party at the pub was amazing from start to finish. Amy and all the staff were so accommodating and always responded quickly when making arrangements, I would thoroughly recommend the pub as a venue for a party and to go for food and drinks at anytime.

Popped by for a delicious Sunday roast - it was so good I forgot to take a photo. Great vibe, excellent service and outstanding food! 100% recommend - will be back next time we’re visiting Bristol.

Had a great night at the Gloucester Old Spot last night to celebrate my friend’s birthday, the Bristol Pie Society sweet potato pie was amazing! and the service was great, Sam went out of his way to provide an excellent service. I will be going back there!

We had a wonderful time at the Gloucester Old Spot for the reception following a family wedding. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, helpful and very hard working and the atmosphere was great. We'd love to pay a return visit on a regular day. Would highly recommend.

I booked the Marquee for a 50th surprise party and the venue was fantastic. It had everything we needed and was perfect for what we hosted. Would not hesitate to come back or recommend to a friend!

We went for a birthday celebration and had a Sunday roast. Had great service the whole time and the food was amazing we left very full. We have been here many times and have recommended to friends and family. See you all soon we’ll be back.

Sunday Roast Review Food: Absolutely excellent Sunday Roast — perfectly cooked meats, rich gravy, and all the classic trimmings done to perfection. Service: Truly exceptional. Attentive, friendly, and professional throughout.  Value for Money: On the pricey side, but you’re paying for top-tier quality. Worth every penny for a special treat. 

Really great Sunday lunch. Very accommodating. One of our group arrived very late. Initially they put the meal under the heat lamp but she was so late they just remade her lunch for her. Really kind. Made our two toddlers feel very welcome. Highly recommend the Nutella doughnuts.

Honestly the best pub in Bristol. Epic team. Delicious food. Buzzing atmosphere. Perfect for every occasion!

We hosted our baby shower in the marquee and it was absolutely gorgeous - the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble and all our guests were raving about the food being amazing (we went for the buffet menu) - couldn’t fault it and everyone was saying what a lovely atmosphere the marquee was and how beautiful the pub was.

We can’t thank Amy & her team at the Old Gloucester Spot for making our Wedding Day so special from the 1st time of meeting her nothing was to much trouble, even decorating the pub with our personal stamp on the already beautiful quirky decor of the pub, We arrranged for extra flowers & balloons for the tables just to put our stamp on the place matching our colour scheme! The hog roast menu was outstanding our guests now still commenting on how wonderful the food was, followed by the mini desserts Selection, guests were being constantly be topped up...

We couldn't have asked for more from the Gloucester Old Spot staff. Nothing was too much trouble, the marquee was beautifully decorated for us and a speaker provided for music. From my initial conversation about the booking, through to settling up on the way out, everything was perfect. Thank you so much for giving us all such a lovely evening.
