Thanks for a wonderful evening. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed themselves. The staff could not have done more and we are grateful for everything you did for us.

The GOS very kindly let us use their marquee to hold a quiz night in aid of St Peter’s Hospice and provided us with a very generous prize. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly throughout the evening and those who ate on the night were thoroughly impressed both with the quality of the food and the service. I can’t praise this pub enough and we will be holding further functions (choir social and a birthday celebration) there in the near future.

Great service, staff so helpful and approachable. We enjoyed the food, very tasty, came out in good time too! Our group all enjoyed our meal, we will definitely be back! Thank you to ALL THE GLOUCESTER OLD SPOT TEAM!

We chose to celebrate my mum’s 75th birthday in the marquee outside. Seb was amazing and so friendly. The food was incredible and everyone commented on how tasty it was. The space itself was brilliant. We could decorate it as we wanted, and Seb kindly gave us a Sonos speaker so we could play our own music. I would definitely consider booking this space again – it was ideal! We love the GoS and are regular customers. highly recommend! Thank you to the whole team – Seb, Wes and Amy.

Best roasts we’ve had in a very long time. As I was pleased to tell the amazing staff at the time the roast dinners myself and my partner enjoyed were the best roasts we had had in a very long time. My beef was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were incredible. Sublime gravy and cauliflower cheese to die for. The staff were awesome- friendly and polite and charismatic and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time.! Absolutely we will be visiting again and I recommend the Gloucester Old Spot to anyone who appreciates good food. Thank you so much.

The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was super speedy too. We had a toddler with us and they were completely geared for kids and the food was great. Such a lovely Sunday lunch and we will be back!

I want to say a huge thank you to your team. My wife had a fabulous birthday. We had fantastic time yesterday and everything was perfect. The service was excellent, the team were all attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding. Our guests were all blown away by the whole day. You will probably see a few of them soon! We went for a Sunday roast for my birthday and it was class. The food was brilliant and the atmosphere and staff were great. They even kept the kitchen open a little past 5pm for us which was so nice 🙂

Becca and the team hosted our daughter’s 21st Birthday party. Amazing food, amazing team and a great venue for any party. Becca organised the event from the reservation and hosted the party perfectly. Cannot recommend the Old Spot team highly enough – brilliant. Thank you!

12 of us booked a table for the France v England rugby match and we could not have wished for a better welcome. The service was very prompt and attentive, and since we were sitting outside, hot water bottles and blankets were offered for those feeling the cold. A fab evening in a fab local pub.
